Our sofas are super comfy and we can alter the sit to your preference. As every piece is made just for you, you can specify whether you want a foam cushion, feather cushion or a combination of both. We can also make the sofa firmer or softer to your requirements and alter the size of your sofa to suit your needs. Can’t quite fit a standard sofa into that limited space? No problem, we can adjust the size accordingly. In fact, wider, shorter, taller, deeper, it doesn’t matter. Whatever size sofa you are looking for, Designer Workshop can make it.
We only use the best quality materials and components available. From solid hard wood kiln dried timber frames to luxurious feather filled cushions all made in Nottinghamshire we do not cut corners. Sure, this adds a little more to our costs but we simply will not compromise on quality. The good news for you is that you are getting a far superior sofa for the same price – or sometimes even less – than a sofa you would buy from the High Street.
We take great pride in every single sofa we make. We really do give each individual piece the time and attention it deserves. We are not a big factory, churning out hundreds of sofas a week with pressure to get out as many pieces as possible. In fact, as we are such a small team, you can be confident that the person you speak to on the phone and the one who delivers it you is also involved in making your sofa. Handcrafted by Designer Workshop
Nottingham based upholsterers, Designer Workshop opened it’s doors in January 2014. It has since built up an enviable reputation for the high quality of furniture it crafts, as well as the superlative reupholstery service it offers. Having started with a small number of high end retailers, Designer Workshop has expanded and now works with antique dealers, carrying out extensive furniture restoration – particularly to french button back chairs and sofas. More recently, the company has evolved into the Contract Market and offers a range of commercial upholstery for bars, hotels and restaurants.
